Hello everyone,
An interesting week with level 2, earthquakes, variable weather, what is next, some normality I hope as we start our golfing season!!
Firstly, thankyou to Frances Nixon and Judy York for lending a hand with the extra work created in operating under Level 2, and to our member’s for your patience and co-operation, however I was a little disappointed in some, who did not take what we were trying to achieve seriously, I don’t enjoy having to tell you what you can and can’t do, I am just doing my job under the recommendations from NZ Golf to keep you all safe.
Thankyou also to Margie and Peter Chapman for kindly picking up our trophies from the engraver’s, we very much appreciate you doing this for us.
You will have no doubt noticed the new flags, kindly sponsored by Golfhub Marlborough, I know many of you purchase goods off Jonti, and would encourage you and other’s to continue to support his business in recognition for his generosity.
Green’s maintenance – No.4 and parts of 3 and 18 were cored today, thankyou to the team of volunteers that turned up to help – as they say many hands make light work.
A new sponsor’s sign has been put up on the end of the building – Road Metals kindly donated a great quantity of product to complete our carpark and practice net, thanks to the boys who put it up.
