There was some variable weather for the long weekend, but nice to see some sunshine today. It’s hard to believe it’s June already – the time we change to Winter starting times for weekend Club Days. Please report at 11am for 11:30 am tee off on Saturdays and Sundays until the end of August.  Midweek times remain the same.

Saturday/SundayThe main event for the weekend was the Hunting and Fishing Men’s Open. This didn’t attract great numbers compared with previous years with around 36 for both days.

ThursdayVets – Mixed Stableford, 11am start, 9-holers 12 noon.
Due to a planned power outage, the clubrooms will have reduced facilities but Vets will go ahead as usual.  There will be blank cards available and manual scoring will be necessary.  Please check your current handicap on NZ Golf ahead of the game. There will be no hot food available (there will be sandwiches, chippies, peanuts and chocolate bars). Be Prepared and have fun like they did in the Olden Days!
