Well Autumn has certainly arrived with some very cool temperatures.  Although the rain during the week was much needed, it affected the Ladies midweek and Twilight golf.

An updated Club Programme has been sent out by email and included on the website.  The changes are mainly related to the Barron Pot.

Results for last week:

Tuesday:Monkey’s Mob: 16 starters with only 10 finishing.  
Rimas Maciulaitis 35, Eric Baynton, John Price, John Murray 33.  
WednesdayLadies Midweek –   Cancelled due to the weather.  
The course was busy with not only the Vets with a field of 39, but the club hosting the first round of a two-day South Island Post Office Tournament.

Ladies 9 Hole – Pennie Wilson 18.  

18-hole – a unisex event this week!

Men – Stableford with numbers boosted with a group booking from Pegasus and various other clubs.

Two’s – No. 4 -Ben Young and Mike Tuuta both from Kaiapoi.
Sunday:Templeton Cup was played here, well done to our team Yellow having a 5/1 win against Hawarden, team Green unlucky with a 3.5/2.5 loss against Rangiora.  

The Men’s Club Game was a Stableford  
Kevin Genet 39, Rick Hughes, Tony Nixon 35, Steve Rouse, Barrie Graham, John Price 34.

The Ladies Interclub Team were unlucky to lose by 1 point against Wairau Valley at Blenheim, but are now in 2nd place from Blenheim.
